Inspired by the life and spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, the Capuchin Soup Kitchen works tirelessly to serve those in need. Their mission is not just to fulfill the basic need for food, but also to stimulate minds, nourish spirits, and address root causes of social injustice in our community.

Forgotten Harvest rescues surplus food from farms, grocers, restaurants, and other approved sources to fight hunger and reduce waste across Metro Detroit. Serving Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties, they distribute millions of pounds of fresh, nutritious food each year to more than 200 emergency food providers.

The Celani Family Foundation was formed by Tom and Vicki Celani as a charity dedicated to addressing the needs of youth and fighting hunger.
Efforts include the Cars and Cigars Smoke Detroit fundraiser, as well as the Hunger-Free in The D radiothon. Combined, these two events have raised over $8-million in donations.
