Presented by the Celani Family Foundation and News/Talk 760 WJR
Detroit is on the come back,
but there is still a lot of work to do to fight hunger in our region...

One in five Michigan families choose between buying food to eat or paying for other basic needs. For families already struggling the holidays can be especially tough.

For the fourth year in a row, WJR and The Celani Family Foundation announce "Hunger Free In The D", a two-week matching gift campaign to support
Forgotten Harvest, The Capuchin Soup Kitchen and Gleaners Community Food Bank.

Give to anyone of our charity partners. The Celani Family Foundation will match, dollar-for-dollar (up to $150,000) every donation made, now through November 20th.

Our goal of raising $300,000 will help to provide over 1/2 million meals this holiday season.
